Some users of Outlook 2003 are getting the error message
"Can't Create File: page001.tiff Right Click the folder you want to create
the file in, and then click Properties on the Shortcut menu to check your
permissions for the folder"
This occurs occasionally on attachments sent from a fax to email service
I have seen some solutions about changing the path to the temporary folder
in the registry and this works for a while but then the problem re-occurs.
It doesn't happen on every fax message, and the users can open a different
fax (with the same attachment name) and then go back and is able to open the
"dodgy" one.
If I look in the temporary folder there are quite a number of Page001.tiff
files e.g. Page001(2).tiff Page001(3).tiff which I would expect as every fax
message that is emailed has the same file names for the attachments. COuld
it be that once it gets to Page001(99).tiff it says "that's enough"
Any Ideas anyone?
