A form with no existing records to display and no ability to add new ones
(such as when the file is Read Only) will have a completely blank detail
section.
When Access has a database open it needs to be able to write to it also,
even only temporarily. If you run it from a CD that is closed, it is read
only.
So you can copy it to a CD but you'll have to copy it from the CD to a PC to
run it.
And also note that some CD bunrning software changes the database to read
only so when you copy it to a PC you will have to change the properties and
get rid of the read only check box before you can open it.
