I created a database/form in access from a sample database within Northwind,
now when I try to save the file to my desktop as my own it will not let me.
I need to be able to put this database when completed onto a CD and I cannot
locate the files I need on my computer, I hope someone else has had this
problem and can help me out ASAP, Many thanks

I'm not sure I understand you. Access is not like Excel or Word, where you
can open an existing document, change it, and then do a "Save As" to create
a new version and keep the original.

When you change something, either data or object design, in Access, the
change is saved immediately.

If you want to use the Northwind database as a sort of template, making
changes to the design for your own purposes, you must take a copy of the
file (Northwind.mdb) *first*, and then make changes to that copy.

There should be no problem copying the resulting file onto a CD. Of course,
to use it on another computer you must have Access installed.
