can't copy/cut/paste

I'm currently using Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6.0
but i can't seem to copy/cut/paste in it. Or if i want to
copy something from IE into lets say Microsoft Word, it
doesn't work. but i can copy/cut/paste from Word into
Word.
so there must be something wrong with my internet
explorer.
what could be the problem? please help.

Menu: Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom Level
Check this setting: "Drag and Drop or copy and paste files".
