Can't connect to Windows 98 on network

Here it is in a nutshell:
I have Windows XP Home set as the main computer on a network, and Windows 98
is one of the clients. I have enabled network sharing on both computers.

When I am on the XP machine and open up the network, I can see both
computers and their shared files. But, when I open up the network on the 98,
I can't connect to the main. Any reason why this is? I need it mainly for
network printing.

I have the main computer Wired to my router, and the other one is connected
via wireless USB adapter. They both have internet access, I just can't see
the XP from the 98 (if you follow what I'm saying)

If you can help that would be great, thank you very much.

Windows 98 has problems connecting to 2000/XP since it is not multi-user. You
will need to create the Windows 98 user(s) account on each/every XP PC that
you need to connect to.

Okay cool, how would I go about doing that? I set up the network on the XP
and made a floppy and installed the network on the 98. Basically:

Windows XP - Can access both computers
Windows 98 - can only access it's own computer.

So it's like there is half a network.

Chris,

This is a known problem with Windows 98 and Windows XP on the same network. The
browser subsystem on both versions is not compatible with each other.
