Can't connect to my web server

Sorry if this is a common question.
I used FrontPage 2002 a few months back to create some simple web pages with
pictures & stuff. Now for whatever reason, Frontpage will not connect to
that web server.
I can connect without a problem using WS FTP using the same login/password.

I can't edit these pages without FrontPage, at least I do not know how. Any
ideas why it won't let me connect? The application is "allowed" in my
firewall software. The application will not connect even directly connect
to my cable modem & with the firewall disabled.

Please help!

If you're saying you used to be able to edit live on the server and now you can't,
it's because you've used ftp:// which has broken the extensions.
Have your host repair them and then log on with FrontPage using
the http://www.website.com address.

Thanks for he heads up on that. I use FTP for other folders, storage, a
phpBB message board, stuff like that. Truly just a noob playing around with
this stuff. Every 4 or 5 years I get the idea in my head that I need a
website.
