Server Extensions Question

I was having no problems with a series of forms that I had on my server.
Now, I have cannot get them to work at all. When I do my pages, I run into
one of a couple of problems.

Those trying to get to and use my forms, upon submission, get this error:

"FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web
server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish
this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page."

I am not sure what to do as I did not have that problem previously.

When I try and publish any pages, I get the following error:
"Unable to open 'http://$$$.$$$.com'.
Server Error: The Web server at 'http://$$$.$$$.com' does not appear to have
Windows SharePoint Services installed.
Possible causes:
1. The web server may bot have the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.
2. The web server may be temporarily out of service.
3. If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be
incorrect.
4. An error may have occurred in the web server.

If this server does not support the FrontPage Server Extensions, FrontPage
may still be able to publish to the server via FTP or WebDAV. Please select
one of these options and try again."

When I try to publish via a file system link, I get an error for all of my
forms indicating that I need to publish to a server supporting the FrontPage
Server Extensions or SharePoint Services. As I said, this was working just a
couple of weeks ago. No settings have changed.

Either that, or I get a "System Exception: Access Violation."

If I try an FTP, it just does not make the connection. It keeps trying.
But never makes the connection.

When I go to my server and have it check the server extensions, I get the
same error as many times before:
"The server administration programs and the server extensions on the web
server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with
this server."

Help?! Anyone?! As I have previously mentioned, this was working just a
couple of weeks ago. I have an event that is relying on my server for some
more survey forms and I cannot get them on there.

You need to contact your host to run a health check/repair or reinstall of
the extensions.

The error message from the forms indicates the forms were
copied/published to the server using file system or FTP. The message
comes from _derived/norbots.htm

nortbots.htm only appears in five cases:

1) You are testing on a disc-based website, including a FrontPage
disc-based web that is being browsed through a web-server.

2) You are testing on a website that does not have server extensions
installed or running.

3) The site (or form page) was FTPed from a disc-based web, or
published using a FTP address for the destination, or published to a
file system destination including a network share or UNC address (like
\\machinename\path\webname), or to an address like C:\sitename .
Publish must be to a URL of the form http://example.com

4) The site was correctly published, but the extensions were not
installed correctly or were mis-configured. Re-installing the
extensions may correct the problem.

5) There is a bug associated with FrontPage98 which causes this
problem.

The error when publishing seems to confirm that no-extensions are
working on the server.

To check FP2002 extensions, use:
Start->Administration Tools->Microsoft Sharepoint Administrator

This starts a web page that gives access to administration tasks for the
website and extensions, including "Check Server Health". Tick all the
boxes and click OK.

I guess I should have mentioned in my first post that I am hosting my own web
server.
