Hi,

I just got a new mobo and I reinstalled XP and when I installed new
drivers from Asus for the on board ethernet it would not connect to the
internet. After investigating, I can ping myself successfully but not
the router. The router however has my computer registered and gives me
an IP, with this ip i can succesfully ping myself as well. I can't
connect to the internet at all. I have tried reinstalling drivers,
different ethernet cables. In Ipconfig /all I am also getting a strange
mac address to be 01-23-45-67-89-ab, and I dont know why?

Can anybody please help!

Thanks,
Aman
