OK, mind telling us more information? What kind of internet connection? What
errors do you get? Do you see anything in your event logs? All devices
showing up properly (no errors) in device manager?
My crystal ball is in the shop this week, unfortunately. ;-)
Open connection properties, TCP/IP properties, Advanced button, Options
tab, TCP/IP filtering properties, Enable TCP/IP filtering, select Filter
None for all ports and protocols. If Filter All is checked, the
connection can acquire an IP address, but no connection is possible.
I tried what you said I think. I went in and found tcpip
filtering and checked enable tcp/ip filtering and checked
filter ports and didn't but iany addresses. I still
couldn't connect.
