Can't (completely) remove newsgroup account

Jeff

I tried to delete a newsgroup account, and there is no longer a folder for it
in AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows Mail. However, it is still showing up in
the left-hand pane of Windows Mail. When I right-click and choose "Remove
Account" nothing happens. It does not show up in the Newsgroup Subscriptions
window. The only place it appears is under the folders list in Windows Mail,
but it is very annoying that I cannot entirely get rid of it. Someone please
advise! I notice there is a hotfix for undeleteable emails. Would that work
for undeleteable newsgroup accounts as well? Thanks!

You mught want to check if the other method for deleting accounts works.
Click on Tools, then Accounts, then the account you want to delete, then
Remove.

If that doesn't work, I haven't seen any other messages from people with
undeletable accounts, so if you want to know if a certain method of
deleting them works, you'll probably have to try it yourself.
