Cant Close Websites

I am unable to close any websites anymore. They will
minimize but when I try to close, nothing happens, I have
to go into task manager and end task. Please help, very
annoying.

I'm having the same problem!! It's very frustrating and
really getting on my nerves! I like have multiple IE
pages open and when I end task for the website that's
giving promblems all the pages close down on me.

Does anybody know how to resolve this problem PLEASE!!

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
