Can't Close db

I have a db on a flash drive. I haven't had many problems but this time when
I tried to open it, it won't open. When I tried to delete the lock file I
receive the following message,"It is being used by another person. Close any
programs that might be trying to use the file and try again."

I am the only one using it at the moment. I shut down all open programs. I
was able to make a copy of the problem db and open that copy just fine. I
thought once I was able to do that I could delete both the lock file and the
db, but it won't let me delete either.
Open to suggestions...

Sorry...I guess this doesn't really qualify as an Access question so never
mind.

Aria,

Well, I would not recommend consistently running a database from a flash
drive. That being said, I need a wee bit more information... Windows
version and Access version?

<horrified> I am *so* sorry my second post came across as flippant. That is
not what I meant *at all*. What I meant to say was my question did not really
pertain to Access but rather my having computer related issues so I didn't
want anyone to concern themselves with my question. Having re-read it, I can
see how it may have been misconstred. I was racing the clock and just wanted
to post quickly. Again, my apologies.
