Hello -
I have an Access db file which I used quite often. Today I was doing
the standard Compact and Repair, but when the process finished, my db
never opened back up...all I got was a blank Access screen.
I closed Access and tried to re-open my db...no response. I rebooted
my PC several times...no response. I shut down the PC, restarted...no
response. I've tried to open holding down the CTRL key to override
any start-up/exit procedures but this won't work. I've even done
an Access>Help>Detect and Repair with no luck.
When opening Windows Explorer, the db file is clearly there and is
1.5GB. I copied the db to another PC and the same thing happens, it
just opens to a blank screen. I have no hung .ldb files or anything
that should be preventing this file from opening. I have opened
several other db files with no problems; just this particular file is
having issues.
I've Googled all the postings I can for this issue, but have had no
luck.
Any ideas?!? Help please!
Thanks!
