cant click email links .windows vista mail

when i try to click an email link a lil box opens up that says could not
perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly
installed.

nobody seems to have the fix for this . im new to visat and if anyone knows
how to fix this please explain it for dummies or send me the fix please.

You need to ensure that WM has all its 3 defaults selected.
Go to Default Programs either from the Start menu or in Control Panel
[Classic View].

You need to ensure that WM has all its 3 defaults selected.
Go to Default Programs either from the Start menu or in Control Panel
[Classic View].

Yes, and did you check to see if they are set with all defaults?

i was able to find the folder do what the page recomends for vista in the
mail to folder and i still have the problem. when i open windows mail and go
to accounts and hit properties how many things should be in there . ? i only
see on titled mail defalut ? shouldnt there be more ? this has me so confused
and totally lost.
