I feel like a real idiot but I have to ask.

I was downloading some custom content for a game I play and I think I
accidently hit a button on my download prompt b/c now it just automatically
downloads when I click on something - the problem is I can't choos the
download destination anymore and have no idea where the files are going.

Can anyone hlep.

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download"
option for that filetype:

Open Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File Type tab
Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype click the
"Advanced" button.
Then check the option "confirm open after download".
