Cant Change Internet Explorer Internet Options

I am the only user configured on my XP machine. I am
admin.

Recently, when I go into Internet Explorer and chose
Tools/Options, I get the error message

'This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on
this computer. Please contact youy system administrator.'

Thanks in advance for any advice.
 
Having same issue this morning -- any one have any advice on how to remedy?
