Can't browse the Internet??

Hi I have a user that can no longer use her IE 6 browser.
she gets the error message saying 'microsoft has
encountered an error' and she's unable to browse the net.
I've searched on the net for some info, but couldn't find
anything. When i click on details for the error it gives
me this:
appname: iexplorer.exe
modver:5.0.3700.6705
appVer:6.02800.1106
offset:00003439
modname:shell32.dll

any suggestions on what i can do to fix this? Thanks for
your help.

Can another user log on and use IE successfully?
If so try renaming the user's profile (logged in as admin) that has problems
accessing IE, have the user log in again and a new profile will be created.
Copy relevant files from the old profile to the new profile and check IE.
