Howdy all,

Need a little help.
I booted into safe mode and ran ewido suite to clean some spy/malware up.
Found 5 items, 2 reg entries, 1 cookies, and 2 files in a this folder:

c:\program files\surctual\

I let the program clean them up and now I can reboot normally.
The boot process gets to the Windows XP Home screen with the scrolling
progress bar, then reboots.

I can boot into safe mode, but nothing else works. I've try last known
config that worked, and diagnostic startup and get the same result.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Brian

Since you can get into Safe Mode, it's something that loads
in normal mode that causes the problem. As a first step
I recommend you run msconfig.exe, open the Startup tab
and progressively disable the startup tasks until you can
isolate the culprit.

If you have adapter cards such as a network or sound
adapter or a modem then you should remove them
during testing.
