I turned on my computer yesterday and it did not boot up properly. I
received the error "load needed DLLs for Kernel....". I have tried to start
the computer using the Windows XP CD but it isn't reading the CD evidently as
it keeps trying to load and gives me the error message over and over. I
tried starting in Safe Mode and several other modes listed after pressing F8
and nothing works. I should get the option to select start-up from CD but it
doesn't come up.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

Go in the BIOS and set the Boot Order or Boot Sequence so that the CD is
before the hard disc. To access the BIOS you have to press a key when
the computer starts and before the Operating System starts to load.
Sometimes you will see a message telling you which key to press. Common
keys are F2, Esc or Del. Consult your user manual or post the make and
model number of your computer and maybe someone can tell you the right
key to press.

That worked for me. Thank you. Now if you're up to it can you help again?
I am having to try and repair my Windows XP installation. I boot from the CD
and setup starts running fine. Then is says there are several files it
cannot delete. I press escape, which is recommended, and it proceeds for a
bit. Then it says it cannot create folder "windows\ime\imejp\applets" and
that setup cannot proceed until the folder is created. I've retried several
times and can't get past this point. Any thoughts?
