cant acess "my douments" after moving hard drive

my computer wouldnt restart so i called my tech support. i installed it in
another machine as a second hard drive. i can get to all my files except the
documents and settings, tried changing the sharing and ant get in "access
denied" i really need the files in there, what do i have to do to get to
them, i have read for hours, please help, Thanks
