Can't Access Tools/Internet Options...

J

JohnQ

I can no longer access the Internet Options under Tools
in IE6.
I get the error titled Restriction:
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on your computer. Please contact your system
administrator."

But I *am* the system administrator, and am logged in as
me - mine is the only login on the system (with no
password).
The only change I made was on the Advanced Tab under
Browsing to check 'Use Passive FTP' the last time I was
in Internet Options earlier today.

I tried setting back to a restore point from two days
ago - no effect.

HELP!!!
Thanks.

If the above entry exists: "NoBrowserOptions"
Click "Registry" (up top) select: "Export" (export = copy)
Enter a filename (hint) - NoBrowserOptions
Click Save, highlight the "NoBrowserOptions" entry in the right pane.
Right-click and select: Delete, close Regedit and reboot.

Did you use additional options to authorize Spybot to protect your
computer?
