Can't access revised documents from website

We maintain a website at work where we store documents that get updated
frequently. I am unable to access updated documents. Instead, the links in
IE always open older versions of the documents. I have deleted history,
cookies, all copies of the documents that I can find on my hard drive, and
checked under Internet Options to check for newer versions with every visit
to the site. Also tried refreshing the webpage and rebooting. Any
suggestions?
