Can't access Outlook email via wireless

Normally I connect to the internet through an AT&T Worldnet dial-up
connection and everything works fine. However, when I access the internet
through a public wireless connection such as in a library or hotel, my
internet connection is fine, but I cannot access my email through Outlook.
Outlook keeps trying to dial up on a non-exixtent telephone connection. How
do I fix this?

Change the connection type to LAN on the Connections tab of your account
properties.
