multiple network connections

How can I set up Outlook so that it will always use the
same network to send/receive email?
My PC is connect to internet via 'dial-up' USB ADSL
modem, and connected to home network (for file and
printer sharing) via wireless network card. I want to
get my e-mail from home network (which has internet
connection sharing via a different PC connection). This
works fine, except when 'dial-up' connection is on.
Outlook only looks on this connection for e-mail
(receives OK but cant send). My account is set up to
connect through LAN, my internet connection is set up
to 'always use dial-up'.
Thanks in anticipation.

Paul,
You should post this here:

Just a suggestion, disable "always use dial-up"
.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll post to that group now.
If I disable 'always use dial-up', then the PC just uses
the shared connection for everything, which I dont want.

Currently we have some notebooks that are setup as dialup thru network at one location and broadband thru network at another. You will not be able to use "the same network connection" from 2 locations on different "connections". You can set up 2 lan connections with different ip addresses.
