Can't Access, delete folder

I have a folder on my F: drive that I can't delete, get an error message
stating "access denied, file may be in use" etc. I am logged on as the
Administrator, and permissions appears to be in order. I have tried booting
in safe mode and deleting it from there, no luck. How can I get this
deleted. Thanks
 
What is the name of the folder? Give us the properties of the folder.
Did you create the folder yourself or did it appear on its own?
