Close all instances of IE except one
Right-click on the top Toolbar, uncheck: "Lock the Toolbars"
Place the cursor over the "Address" button and click (hold down)
It will change to a 4-way arrow, move or expand the Address Bar to desired
location
Right-click on the top Toolbar, check: "Lock the Toolbars"
Hold down the Ctrl key and close IE

Well, you should normally be able show/hide toolbars from
the 'View' menu found at the main menu at the top of the
browser. Go to View-Toolbars and click on Address bar. A
tick is displayed next to this word (Address bar) when it
is active.
However, if your Address bar appears active on the View-
Toolbars menu but does not show, there is a possibility
you accidentally misplaced it/hid it.
Go to View-Toolbars and make sure there is no tick next
to 'Lock The Toolbars'. After that, click and drag the
visible toolbars of your browser to different positions
to see whether it will appear somewhere.
Right click the toolbar and make sure that Lock Toolbars is not checked and
that Address Bar is checked.
Grab the handle at the left end of each toolbar and drag them down. One of
them is probably hiding the Address bar.
