Canon S450

I have two Canon S450 printers on separate computers that quit running after xp install. I've completely removed both, drivers, installed the new drivers (from Canon site) and plugged the printers back in. Nothing. The furthest I found myself is the printer requesting a print head alignment. Tried it........to no avail. I'm at the end

Did you really completely uninstall?

If you missed out on Step 4, all you did was reinstall corrupted drivers.
