resident troll is so obsessed with ink he can't see an obvious way to
support his viewpoint.

I'm sure it's true ink, printhead, and software
are designed to work together,

THAT IS A NO BRAINER

but what the troll isn't saying anything
about the fact that the paper offered by the manufacturer under their
own label is also part of the system too. This is a reasonable
statement.

This is not to say you might not want someone else's paper,
MAYBE

or someone
else ink,

ONLY IF YOU WANT A HIGHER EXPOSURE TO A HEADCLOG

or that someone else might design a system you like as well
for whatever reason,

INK AND THEN MAINTAIN QUALITY CONTROL IN THE FACTORY.

IN ESSENSE THEY MAY BE USING SOMEONE ELSE CAPITAL AND LABOR UNDER THEIR
CONTROL AND SPECIFICATIONS. THEY ARE LARGE ENOUGH TO DO THAT.
