I`ve had a Canon BJC610 printer for years and has given good service anyway the
yellow colour has been playing up. Done the normal thing self clean etc even changed
the ink cart (was half full) for new one but still flashing light.

So I took the printer head out and give a good clean with new small paint brush with
clean water, anyway all the lights are flashing now (so made it worse :-(

left it to dry out but still the same

I don`t think its worth getting a new print head (looking at price of todays
printers)

But if anyone could help to get it back up and running as it has been a great printer
must have
had for about 9 years

It might be a ink sensor error. There is a procedure that I have seen
on the Internet in the past to reset it.
