canon bjc2000 won't print

Hi!
I haven't used the printer in quite a while, until today. I put in a new
cartridge and tried to print a document but it won't print. I've never had
trouble before. The printer runs and there are no error messages showing
up. I did the maintenance a few time, with no luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am having exactly the same problem with my bjc-70. Hopefully someone will
give us some advice.
