Cannot view OFFICE workgroup after upgrade to SP3 on one computer

I was viewing files in my OFFICE workgroup (two computers only) between my
XP SP1 laptop and my XP SP3 desktop. I then installed SP3 and all
available updates on the laptop. Both computers have me as the
administrator.

Now I cannot view any files in my desktop.

Message that pops up is

My Documents

Office is not accessible You might not have permission to use this network
resource....

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

As I said all was working fine until I installed SP3 on the laptop.

I have tried setting access to files and printers on the laptop but it still
does not work.

How can I fix this?
