Cannot view HTML source on IE6 on XP Pro

I need to browse through HTML & JavaScript code of
certain web pages for my work. The View Source option on
the drop-down menu or from the View menu does not do
anything. (IE6 on XP Pro). How do I get this to work ?

Daniel.

Clear the cache. Set Notepad as the editor.

Empty your cache (temporary Internet files).

If the Source still doesn't open in Notepad: There is a bug. If you have a desktop
shortcut for Notepad, delete it, then reboot. It seemed strange to me that having a
desktop shortcut for Notepad was stopping the I.E. Source from opening in Notepad, but
that was the problem. Since I use Notepad often, I found a free third party Notepad-like
text editing applet to put on my desktop, of which there are many. So, now my I.E.
Source opens in Notepad, and I use the other free text editor applet from my desktop.
