"View Page Source" stopped working

XP Professional, IE 6 Sp1. Reinstalled IE6 SP1.

"View Page Source" within IE6 does not work. I choose
view page source and NOTHING happens.NADA. I installed
Mozilla and Firefox and those work because of the
internal app to view source code... Is there a reg
setting for this? a helper app setting?

Please help!

Thanks everyone.

Clear your temp internet files in IE and try again.

(btw - isn't firefox great - I stopped using my old faithful and much liked
IE6 cause Firefox is simply better imho. Very forward thinking. We'll have
to see if ms steps up with new features and better security in ie6 some time
soon)

Time to perform some house cleaning chores:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.

Can you give me more info? I am wondering why cleanmgr
would fix a "view source file" problem...am I missing
something?

Thanks so much!

Not sure if you saw my response............. you have to clear your temp
internet files. It gets corrupted sometimes. The disk cleanup tool will
clean temp int files, so I assume that's why Kelly recommended it.
