Hi I had windows vista on my laptop and didnt like it so I put win xp pro on
it with service pack 3, it runs fine but im at school and I need to know how
to use a diferent app for when I view the source code for a html page, I can
use the default one so far but it dosnt alow to edit it only view it and it
views like pspad, I know i can right click any html file to edit it but I
find it quicker to right click somewhere on the html page and then edit it
with (with vists it defaults to word pad or word) view source.

how do I revert the current view source to an app that I can view and edit
html files?

Thanks
GK

You did not mention what browser you are viewing pages with.
I'm still using IE6 with XP-pro SP3.

If you are using Internet Explorer:
Click: Tools (on your menu bar)
Click: Internet Options
Click: Programs (tab)
in "HTML editor" dropdown box choose: Notepad
(or Word, or whatever choices you have)
Click: Apply (button at bottom, or OK button)
That should do it.
