Cannot use RIS on a machine twice

Hello

We have several RIS images available on our RIS server. If we take a brand
new PC and build it using a RIS image, we get the choice of which RIS image
to use and this works fine. But if we take a machine that has previously been
built using RIS, and try to rebuild it, we don't get the screen to choose the
RIS image.

Any idea what causes this, and how I can correct it?

i made some test: the problem appears on dell sx260 and dell sx270.
dell sx280 computers work fine. are you using the same type of
computers?

We fixed this now. We used mostly HP PCs. What we found helped was making
sure there was only one RIS server on the LAN - someone had set up another
one without my knowledge. Also, in AD Users and Computers, delete the
computer account of the computer you're about to rebuild before you try to
RIS it.
