cannot use objects linking and embedding in excel

Again, take a look at KB article # 296114 which contains a
registry hack. The hack will not work if the application
returning the error is SVCHOST.EXE however, which appears
to be a different animal all together.

Some instances this KBA might fix, but several have also
gotten the svchost.exe error and I can not find a fix for
either. If anyone knows how to get rid of this short of a

I think your computer has a virus called W32.blaster.worm,
check out the symantec web site for the fix. The errors
you are getting are all related to the worm and shoudl go
away as soon as you install the security patch.
