cannot use objects linking and embedding in excel

I too am getting this error - but only since last Friday,
its driving me scatty, any ideas or fixes please drop me
an e-mail - I will do likewise if I discover anything.

Again, take a look at KB article # 296114 which contains a
registry hack. The hack will not work if the application
returning the error is SVCHOST.EXE however, which appears
to be a different animal all together.

I think your computer has a virus called W32.blaster.worm,
check out the symantec web site for the fix. The errors
you are getting are all related to the worm and shoudl go
away as soon as you install the security patch.
