If you have an OEM version of Windows XP Home Edition,
or are attempting to upgrade over Windows 2000, you cannot do so.
Only a "Retail Version" of Windows XP Professional can upgrade
over Windows 2000. OEM versions can only be installed on a
reformatted drive or partition.
