Cannot uninstall

I have tried everything, but I can install or now uninstall some programs. I
have tried restarting the Msiexec service with no luck. The installer fix
will not even install, any fix besides just reformatting?

I can't uninstall McAfee,it messed up and wanted me to reinstall,it won't
uninstall with add remove programs,and i could'nt delete alot of it manually
from program files. I have the disc (it's virus scan 2005 ver.9.0) and it
won't take that either so i can reinstall.Defrag quit working at about the
same time.I'm lost~~~ I have a p3 w/xp home. Thanx ahead of time.

same hapend to me once - and i did the same - i delete the file
manually and just some of them still there - that dont bother me!!
its just a file stok there but with no funtio
