Please can someone tell me how i UNINSTALL XP? The help &
support option says go to Add / Remove Programs option and
remove it from there but the programs not listed there. Is
there another way it can be removed?

Hi

If XP was installed as an upgrade from a previous version of Windows and you
opted to save the uninstall files, then there would an entry in Add/Remove
Programs. If it was already installed you will have to format and then
re-install. Are you planning on re-installing XP after removing it? If so,
have a look at the following article by MVP Michael Stevens:

"Clean Install Windows XP"

Uninstalling (from Add/Remove Programs) and reverting to your
previous operating system is only possible if you did an upgrade,
took the option to save your previous operating system, and did
not convert to NTFS.

If any of those is not true, the only way to get back to your
previous operating system is by reformatting and reinstalling it
cleanly, thereby losing everything on your drive (back up
anything you need first). To do so, just boot from the Windows XP
CD and follow the prompts for a clean installation. It will do
the reformat for you.
