Cannot type in Outlook or I.E.

When I use Outlook or I.E. I cannot type in the body of an email or on a web
page. In an email I can type in the To: field and the Subject: field but
when you move the cursor to the body of the message and start typing nothing
happens. It's the same thing in I.E. I can type in the address bar but if
there is info. I need to type into the web page ex. my name, the cursor will
go there but when you type nothing will show up. If I use Firefoxs browser I
have no problem with typing in the boxes. I am using Windows XP Home.

sounds like you have a secondary tool app that is blocking you. try
booting into safe mode with network support.. open your outlook and see
if you can type a message.

if you can.. you know its a loadable block... permissions perhaps.. if
you can't, its a program lock out. you know, those horrid grey fields
that you can't change?

post your findings so we can dig deeper.

I started in Safe mode with network support.. opened up outlook and still
could not type in the body of the message.

assuming [at risk of you know what] that you'r using another computer

Then I'm sorry but I don't know. You might try posting in an Outlook
and/or Internet Explorer newsgroup. Here is a list of all the MS
