After turning on the computer, it opens a first creen,
that shows the windows xp logo, and the horizontal bar,
where litle boxes move.

then, it goes out, and a blank screen(nothing to see, all
is dark) appear, and then after a while, the cursor arrow,
appears in the middle of the screen.

You can move the cursor with the mouse, but there is
nothing else to see.

I have tried to repair, using the CD, but still the same,

Help Wanted to solve this problem

Thanks

Hold down the left shift key on boot up and try to goto
safemode. Once in safemode do a system restore .

Boot from the CD and goto recovery console, Type chkdsk /p
let it attempt to fix your files.

3rd
boot from the cd and continue past recovery console,
choose the next option for repair. It will look like an
install but will fix the files. If the second repair
option doesn't appear ...your windows is too damaged for
repair, you will have to install windows to a different
directory ( ie c:\winnt )
all done!
