cannot send mail

My isp(Verizon with aircard) does not have email service. I've tried to set a
gmail account to allow me to be able to use windows mail. I followed the
instructions exactly. I receive mail but cannot send. A copy of all mail sent
or received goes to my gmail account. I cannont mail to newsgroups or any
others. If the problem was with my Zonealarm anti virus or firewall, why
would mail go to gmail? the following is the error sent back to
me........................This is an automatically generated Delivery Status

Either your internet provider's DNS server is down (in which
case you can't reach much of the internet) or it's saying that
the machine you are trying to use as a server doesn't exist.

Note that you'll probably have to use an outgoing email server
that listens to a port other than port 25 to avoid problems
when the connection crosses from one internet provider's
equipment to another's.

I've seen some suggestions that Windows Live Mail works
with some servers which Windows Mail won't work with,
so you may want to install this free download from
Microsoft and try it.

The bounce error notice is accurate. There is no domain named
bcdsde.com.
