Cannot send mail - Please help!

Gary,

I have read and tried to follow everyone's suggestions, but still no outoing
email. Purchased new machine with Vista, and nothing by incompatability
problems. Email worked for a few weeks, then stopped sending; receiving
still ok. I deleted the MaAfee which came with the maching and purchased CA.
Same problem.

I can take this PC out of my apartment and go my office and it will send. I
have service with Charter; could they be the problem. I called them and they
said no.

I have tried to turn on/off all of the options in CA Anti Virus, but still
no go.

Any Suggestions?

Just a thought....

Are you connecting wirelessly to the internet?
In an apartment, you may be connecting to a network other than your own. And
thus, trying to send email thru a different server.

Charter is your home ISP, and the failure to send occurs only
at home? Is there an error message? If so copy it and paste
into a reply here.
