I see this problem a lot. I have two pc's that both run Windows Mail. They
have identical setups and use the same email account. The desktop works
properly but the Toshiba laptop cannot send emails. Both pc's run McAfee
Antivirus. I have tried disabling the the antivirus on the laptop but am
still unable to send mail. Problem started when we downloaded Vista updates
on 06/13/08.
