Cannot Send E-Mail from Word

When I try to use "Sent To -> Mail Recipient" I get the following error
message:
"Word could not load the e-mail envelope. This could be caused by a network
connection problem or a problem with your Office installation."

I am using Word 2002, Outlook 2003 and Windows XP. I have searched several
knowledge bases for a solution, but so far nothing has worked.

Hello Carolyn,

In order to be able sned email from word, you should have same versions of
outlook and word (or both 2002 or both 2003).

Have you tried to "send as attachment?" I have the same problem with Word
2003 if I just send to mail recipient and this seems to work for me.
