Cannot see USB pen drive in windows explorer

Guys
I'm runnig XP SP2.
I have a pen drive when I plug it into my laptop (Sony) I can see it in
device manager but not in windows explorer. IT works OK on just about
anyother machine including my desktop. I'm sure it was OK on my laptop at
some time.
Any help will be appreciated.

Silly question: do you have any partition created on that USB drive?
 
I don't see the OP's message but,

Give it a drive letter in Disc Manager.
