Removable pen drive

I have a scandisk pen dirve, when in the usb port the computer finds the
drive and lists it in device manager. However windows explorer does not see
the removavle pen drive. Even after a refresh or even a re boot.

What needs to be done for Explorer to see the device?

Has the pen drive been formatted ?

Yes it is formatted. in fact it works just fine in other computers.

Is a drive letter assigned to it in Disk Management?

No Disk manager does not see it.
