Cannot see screens as they are so small

I did some changes on my windows xp yesterday and changed
the monitor display etc, the next minute my scrrens and
the writing are that small i cannot see to fix it back to
its original state, can anyone help me restore my
computer, bearing in mind i cannot see screen names or
anything to go into to fix, please help urgent

Boot to Safe Mode. This uses generic video drivers and will let you reset
the screen resolution.
