Cannot see other PCs on the network

Hi,

I remember that user can see list of other PCs of the same network.
Unfortunately, I cannot see them.

I am using windows XP

The first thing to do would be to make sure that the firewalls are
eliminated as a possible cause, disable the firewalls and see if the
problem persists.

Having positively eliminated the firewall as a possible cause you can
then use the NET VIEW command at a Command Prompt to try to view the
shares on another machine on your network:

net view \\computername
