cannot see messages in my inbox

okay I can only see the new messages in my inbox as soon as I read one it
dissapears. In the local folder view it still shows$ that it is there but I
cant access them. Thier is a drop down box that has "hide read messages" but
no way to change it. What do I do??

Go to View>current view>select only the top and bottom options.
When you select the top option it will remove the spot from 'hide read
messages'.

Click on your Inbox, then View, then Current View, then Show All Messages.
